1. Packages and mail
  1. Packages and Mail can be sent to your EBOX via:
    • Amazon delivery
    • International Courier Services (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.)
  2. Customers must ensure that the correct EBOX Number and US address are clearly marked on all packages and mail to avoid delivery delays.
  3. C.O.D. shipments to your EBOX will NOT be accepted
2. Restricted Packages

Most consumer and commercial products can be sent via your EBOX except for the following:

  1. Animal skins
  2. Cash
  3. Drones
  4. Narcotics
  5. Perishables
  6. Pornographic Material

 

N.B. Hazardous Materials can only be sent with prior Management knowledge since HazMat documentation must accompany the shipment. A HazMat Documentation Fee will apply.

3. Weight and package information
  1. Charges are calculated according to the greater of the actual or volumetric weight.
    • Volumetric weight is calculated in inches using the following formula:
    • (Length x Width x Height) / 144
  2. Maximum weight allowed for EBOX is 50lbs per package/s
4. Dutiable shipments
  1. A commercial invoice must accompany all non-document shipments.
  2. Non dutiable/no customs charges apply to Invoices with a value of USD$75.00 or below
  3. Duty Fee concessions will apply to any shipments where the said applications are submitted timely before customs clearance.
  4. A formal trade/ commercial entry must be made for shipments. A Brokerage Fee will apply.
  5. Lack of proper documentation will delay clearance process
5. Junk mail

The US Postal Service delivers a lot of unsolicited mail to US addresses. Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd., will not sort your mail to determine what is junk from what is not. Any mail or packages addressed to you will be delivered to you. In order to diminish junk mail being delivered to your EBOX simply opt out of mailing lists from your suppliers and websites you frequent.

6. Limitation of liability
  1. Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or damage to any mail or packages. It is advisable to insure any valuable packages.
  2. Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd will not be liable for any consequential loss due to lost, damaged, destroyed or undelivered mail and packages.
7. Prohibited uses

The EBOX address is the property of Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd. and is to be used solely for the purpose of receiving and forwarding mail and packages. The Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd address shall not be used for the purpose of registering companies in the USA. The EBOX address shall only be used for lawful purposes.

8. Membership
  1. All charges will be the sole responsibility of the registered customer.
  2. A notification must be sent in writing of any local change of address.
  3. If your account is in arrears, no further deliveries will be made until payment is made.
  4. Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd. reserves the right to terminate this contract at anytime.
  5. Subscription Fees are FREE and it is a lifetime membership.
  6. Mail and packages that are undeliverable or unclaimed after 30 days will be destroyed.
9. Change of address

Eclipse Couriers & Logistics Ltd. may have to occasionally change locations to facilitate growth. In such an event, one month’s notice will be given and change of address forms can be mailed on your behalf. However, it will be your responsibility to ensure your suppliers and vendors are aware of your new address.

10. Rates

Rates are subject to change without notice as external forces such as increases in airline fuel costs and security surcharges will have a direct impact on freight charges. However, every effort will be made to inform you of these rate changes in advance.
